A Community where Diversity is Respected and Supported
The Weston King Neighbourhood Centre (WKNC) provides essential services and support to vulnerable and marginalized individuals. People affected by the social and economic barriers in our community can always find help here.
Our mission is to provide a response to the people within our community who are coping with economic or social barriers, and to help lessen those barriers for the
communities of Weston and Mount Dennis.

51251 hot meals served to people in our community in 2024
A 10.7% increase over 2023!

In our Weston location, WKNC provides fresh breakfast and lunch meals to participants from Monday to Saturday and offers Tuesday evening dinner as well. In addition, there are once-a-week groceries for participants Tuesday at 12:00 pm. There are showers for use, laundry machines and dryers, harm reduction kits, housing services, some clothing items, puzzles and board games, a phone, a photocopier, and a fax machine.
We can offer all of this thanks to the support of our sponsors, partners, and donors. Their donations of food items, clothing, and money ensure that we can serve our community consistently with the services they need.

Mount Dennis
Unfortunately we have had to close our physical location in Mount Dennis due to a significant increase in the rent. We continue to look for a new location and ways to serve our participants in the Mount Dennis Area.
Summer 2025 Crosstown Family Health Team (1286 Weston Rd) hosted a once-per-week gardening hub, allowing us to do outreach in the neighbourhood. The program will restart Spring 2026.
If you’re a community organization or local business in Mount Dennis interested in hosting meals or community events, please contact our Drop-in Program Manager, Monica Pierce, at monicap@wknc.ca
